Why We Spent Months Engineering a 6.13" E-Reader Case From Scratch
The recent wave of 6.13" E-ink devices—powered by the crisp Carta 1300 screen—finally made pocket reading a premium experience. However, when we looked at the market's protection options, we were disappointed.
Almost everything available was a generic, mass-produced clear TPU soft case. They have three massive flaws: they turn yellow instantly, they get sticky from hand oils during long reading sessions, and they rely on giant, ugly corner "airbags" that ruin the device's sleek silhouette.
We knew these handheld readers deserved a custom-tailored solution. So, we went back to our factory and started toolings for a completely new mold.
Here was our thinking:

Rethinking the Texture: We developed a proprietary, semi-translucent frosted matte finish. It feels incredibly smooth, yet completely repels fingerprints and palm sweat.

Streamlining Protection: We eliminated the bulky corner cushions. Instead, we engineered flush, integrated bumpers that absorb impact without expanding the physical size of your pocket reader.

Building an Ecosystem: Pocket readers need ergonomics. We embedded a precise magnetic ring inside the shell. It snaps perfectly to our custom front covers and stays 100% compatible with standard magnetic ring stands on the market.

The Practical Details: Aside from our classic Twosheep logo on the lower left, we added a dedicated lanyard hole on the right. Slip a wrist strap in, and you can read safely on a crowded subway or in bed without fear of accidental drops.
